TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE

Traditional Chinese Medicine seeks to balance the vital energy existing in our body, because every disease is nothing more than a state of disharmony.

The diagnostic methods and techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine focus on the patient as a whole, physically, mentally and emotionally, seeing each person as unique when drawing up a treatment plan, always looking for answers to improve their well-being.

It works with the following Therapeutic vision:

  • Self-regulation of the body: it looks for the causes of the imbalance, not just treating the symptoms, which guarantees a sustained and lasting recovery.

  • Holistic view: treats the body, mind, emotions and spirit as an integrated system, and analyzes each patient as a unique being connected with nature.

  • Prevention: in a health and wellness approach, it promotes self-analysis of lifestyle habits and anticipation of possible disease-causing imbalances.

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a technique that is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the best known in the Western world, which consists of stimulating specific points located on the body using very fine, disposable needles. This stimulation has the ability to regulate the body’s energy flow along energy channels called meridians.

LASER ACUPUNCTURE

Laser acupuncture is a synthesis between the knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern high-tech phototherapy

Through the application of the laser, there is a direct and primary activation of cellular metabolism, so the process translates into a set of effects of which the action stands out:

  • Anti-inflammatory

  • Analgesic

  • Regenerative

  • Increased circulation

  • Anti-edema

Acupuncture is painless, can be applied in children and more sensitive patients.

Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture works by applying electromagnetic impulses in the form of an electric current to needles located in acupuncture points, acupuncture channels and other areas of the body.

This technique enhances the therapeutic action of Acupuncture by producing analgesic, anti-inflammatory, neuro-regulatory and homeostatic effects.

Auriculotherapy

Auriculotherapy involves stimulating specific points on the auricle to relieve pain and/or treat physical and mental problems.

The ear is a microsystem, this means that the whole body is represented within it, so it contains reflex points and areas that are connected to the Central Nervous System.

Stimulation can be done by an acupuncture needle, laser, electrostimulation, moxibustion, mustard seeds, metal spheres or radionic crystals.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a very old practice and consists of applying heat through a stick with medicinal herbs. It can be used for various health problems, both physical and emotional.

Depending on the treatment, the application can cover an area, as well as acupuncture points, acting by heat and the therapeutic action of a plant, usually mugwort.

Moxibustion has many benefits, including being analgesic, anti-inflammatory, vasodilating and stimulating blood circulation.

Cupping therapy

Cupping therapy is an ancient technique of alternative medicine where special cups create suction on your skin for a few minutes creating vacuums.  The pressure caused by the cups stimulates blood circulation, allowing toxins to be released and increasing tissue oxygenation.

The main benefits of cupping therapy are:

  • Detoxification of the body

  • Increased local blood circulation

  • Elimination of muscle contractures

  • Increased production of synovial fluid within the joints

  • Relaxation of body and mind

Tui Na

Tui Na is a therapy guided by the principles of Chinese Medicine diagnosis, to define the massage and manipulation techniques to be used in each treatment.

Its action covers musculoskeletal and internal medicine problems, being effective not only in recovery but also in the prevention of various pathologies.

Through the stimulation of acupuncture points and meridians, applied in specific areas of the body, the Tui Na has the advantage of contributing to physical and emotional balance.

Pharmacopoeia

The Chinese Pharmacopoeia consists of using natural substances with therapeutic properties to promote the restoration of balance in the body.

Based on the diagnosis, the treatment plan may include formulas from the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, which will act on the origin of the problem and/or the symptoms presented. These prescriptions enhance the effectiveness of the treatment and match perfectly with all the techniques mentioned above.

Nutrition

Traditional Chinese Medicine relates the characteristics of food, with its effects on the human energy system, thus allowing to adjust the conditions of the organism.

All foods are classified by their nature, tropism, taste, direction and function, so an accurate diagnosis can recommend which foods are the most beneficial and the most harmful to restore energy balance.

Traditional Chinese Medicine can intervene in some of the following pathologies:

  • Sciatica, dorsal, cervical, lumbar pain
